Lagos state university (LASU) Opens 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Registration
Lagos State University (LASU) has officially commenced its admission screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session through UTME and Direct Entry.
To qualify, UTME candidates must have selected LASU as their first-choice institution and scored at least 195 in the 2026 UTME. Applicants are also required to be 16 years old or above by October 1, 2026. Direct Entry applicants must possess the appropriate qualifications and choose LASU as their preferred institution.
The online screening portal will remain open from June 3 to June 23, 2026. During the exercise, candidates will be assessed using a grading system that combines their UTME performance with their five best relevant O’Level subjects.
LASU advised applicants to ensure their O’Level results are uploaded on the JAMB CAPS portal before the screening deadline. Candidates who do not meet this requirement may encounter difficulties during admission processing.
The university offers admission into a wide range of programmes across its faculties, including Arts, Education, Law, Engineering, Science, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, Computing and Information Technology, Environmental Sciences, Agriculture, Medicine, and Transport & Logistics.
Interested candidates can complete their registration through the university’s admission screening portal and follow all instructions carefully to avoid disqualification.
Application Deadline: June 23, 2026
For official details and registration, candidates should visit the LASU admission portal.
