The University of Ilorin has conducted the Post-UTME examinations for underage candidates seeking admission into the institution for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The special screening exercise, which is targeted at candidates below the officially approved admission age, forms part of the university’s admission verification and assessment procedures following recent national discussions surrounding underage admissions into tertiary institutions.
Recall that we announced only 21 candidates were reportedly shortlisted under this category after meeting exceptional academic considerations outlined during the admission process.
The exercise is expected to help the institution determine the academic readiness and suitability of the affected candidates before final admission considerations are made.
