The management of the University of Ilorin has expelled nine students from the institution after they were found guilty of various acts of examination malpractice and other forms of misconduct.

According to the notice, the disciplinary action followed findings that the students were involved in offences including examination impersonation, examination malpractice, and other acts of misconduct, which violate the university’s rules and regulations.
The action comes as the university prepares for the commencement of the 2025/2026 Rain Semester examinations, with authorities repeatedly reminding students to comply strictly with examination regulations and avoid any form of malpractice.
