UNIVERSITY OF JOS (UNIJOS) RELEASES 2026/27 POST-UTME ADMISSION FORM


The University of Jos hereby invites candidates who chose the University as First Choice in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination/Direct Entry (UTME/DE) and obtained a minimum score of 180, to apply for Post-UTME/DE Screening Exercise for admission into the University.
ONLINE REGISTRATION DATE
Registration will commence on Monday 13th July, 2026 and close on Saturday 12th September, 2026.
ELIGIBILITY TO REGISTER FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

  • UTME candidates must have a minimum score of 180 (see differential cut-off marks below).
  • UTME/Direct Entry candidates are to pay the stipulated screening fee and register online.
    Only candidates who have uploaded their O’ level results on JAMB CAPS will be considered.
    All Direct Entry candidates must possess the minimum requirements for the course applied for.

REGISTRATION GUIDE
Step 1: Create an Account

  1. Go to portal.unijos.edu.ng.
  2. Click FORMS APPLICATION.
  3. Select 2026 UTME/DE Screening.
  4. Read the pop-up message carefully, then close it.
  5. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click Get Started.
  6. Fill in the sign-up form with your email, phone number, and password.
  7. Submit the form.
  8. Check your email, open the activation message, and click the activation link.

Step 2: Pay the Screening Fee

  1. Return to portal.unijos.edu.ng and click LOGIN.
  2. Enter your registered email and password, then click Login.
  3. On your dashboard, click Make Payment to pay the screening charges.
  4. Follow the payment instructions until it is successful.
  5. Print both the portal receipt and the Remita receipt sent to your email.
  6. Click Proceed to print your screening summary for reference.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  1. Only candidates who selected University of Jos as first choice will be uploaded on the portal.
  2. Confirm if you meet the departmental cut-off mark before registering; otherwise, change course via JAMB CAPS.
  3. All candidates must first accept their admission offer on JAMB CAPS within 4 weeks of its release before it will reflect on the University of Jos portal.
  4. Failure to comply with all the above guidelines may result in delays or exclusion from the admission process
