The University of Nigeria hereby invites candidates who made UNN their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 160 and above for screening exercise. Other criteria for eligibility include:
Candidates should ensure that the names on their WAEC/NECO results are consistent and same with their names in JAMB.
Candidates waiting to write November/December 2026 GCE and NECO are not eligible to apply.
Candidates below the age of 16 years by 30th September, 2026 should not apply.
DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES FOR 2026/2027 WHO MADE UNN THEIR FIRST CHOICE INSTITUTION SHOULD ALSO REGISTER FOR THE SCREENING.
Candidates must ensure that their A’Level (Direct Entry) result presented at the point of registration in the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has been verified by the Nigerian Integrated Post-Secondary Education Data System (NIPEDS).
Candidates are encouraged to visit the University website regularly for updates on the Screening exercise.
