The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the timetable for the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates, Second Series, commonly known as the 2026 GCE Second Series.
According to the released timetable, the examination is scheduled to commence on Friday, September 4, 2026, and will run until Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
Candidates preparing for the examination are advised to obtain and carefully study the complete timetable to take note of the dates, times and duration of their respective subjects.
Candidates are also encouraged to begin adequate preparations ahead of the examination and ensure they comply with all WAEC examination guidelines.
