The Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, has announced that the Federal Government has eliminated the leakage of examination questions in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and the National Examinations Council (NECO) examinations.
Speaking at the maiden convocation ceremony of Miva Open University in Lagos, Alausa attributed the achievement to ongoing reforms in the education sector, including the adoption of Computer-Based Testing (CBT) and a hybrid examination system.
According to the minister, the reforms have also significantly reduced examination malpractice and are aimed at restoring the credibility, integrity, and public confidence in Nigeria’s examination process.
He reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to strengthening assessment systems and improving the quality of education through technology-driven reforms and enhanced examination security.
