According to the admission notice released by the university management, candidates seeking admission into MB;BS (Medicine and Surgery) are required to score a minimum of 200 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The Faculty of Nursing Sciences also maintained a high admission benchmark, with Nursing Science pegged at 190, while Law programmes including Common Law and Common & Islamic Law equally require a minimum score of 190 for eligibility.
Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) under the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences was fixed at 180.
The university also confirmed that Direct Entry candidates must possess a minimum of two points in A’Level qualifications such as JUPEB, IJMB, or NABTEB Advanced Level, while ND and NCE applicants are expected to meet specified grade requirements depending on their programmes.
