JAMB RESCHEDULES UTME CANDIDATES, ISSUES FRESH EXAMINATION DATE

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced the rescheduling of affected candidates in the ongoing 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), issuing new examination dates and times.

In notifications sent to candidates observed by our correspondent, the Board informed the affected candidates on the revised schedules, directing them to reprint their examination slips for updated details. One such notification reads: “Your exam has been rescheduled and your new exam date is Friday, April 17, 2026 at 12:00PM. Kindly visit the official portal to reprint your exam slip for more details.”

The development follows earlier reports of technical and logistical disruptions experienced in some Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres during the initial phase of the examination. JAMB had assured candidates that those affected by verified issues would be given another opportunity to sit for the examination.
