KWASU RECORDS ANOTHER 100% ACCREDITATION SUCCESS

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted all 9 undergraduate programmes presented by Kwara State University, Malete, in the October/November 2025 accreditation round full accreditation status.

The result of the accreditation exercise which was addressed to the Visitor to Kwara State University, Malete, and Governor of Kwara State, was dated April 7, 2026, and signed by NUC’s Director of Accreditation, Abraham Chundusu.

The notice of accreditation stated that the full accreditation status was valid for the statutory 3 years.

The programmes include Accounting; Banking and Finance; Business Administration; Environmental Health Science; English; Linguistics; Performing Arts; Computer Science; and Microbiology.

In his reaction to the notice of successful accreditation, the Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, expressed joy while congratulating the Visitor to the University and the entire KWASU Community.

He noted that the successful reaccreditation of the 9 programmes pointed to the commitment of all stakeholders to sustain the excellent education provided by the institution.

Professor Jimoh also charged the University Community to continue to give premium service as the management would also not relent in working for the advancement of the institution.
