The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially approved Thursday, May 21, 2026, for the Passing-Out Parade (POP) of 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II corps members across the country.

According to an approved programme of activities released by the scheme, the Director-General has directed that the ceremony be conducted on a low-key basis nationwide, with activities scheduled to run over a two-week period leading up to the final day.
The timetable indicates that pre-Passing-Out activities will commence from May 5 to May 6, featuring Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC) programmes at the local government level in collaboration with relevant agencies.
Between May 7 and May 12, a series of critical processes will be carried out, including the release of corps members by employers, registration and clearance by Local Government Inspectors, and the signing of final clearance by Zonal Inspectors. Additionally, selected corps members will participate in the administration of the NYSC Form 4B questionnaire.
Further JAC activities and clearance processes are scheduled to continue from May 13 to May 20, ensuring that all administrative requirements are completed ahead of the Passing-Out date.
On Thursday, May 21, certificates of national service will be distributed to eligible corps members at the local government level, marking the official completion of their one-year mandatory service.
The NYSC reiterated that all corps members must adhere strictly to the outlined schedule and complete their clearance procedures to qualify for the issuance of their certificates.
