University of Ilorin has announced that the 2025/2026 Rain Semester Examinations will run from Monday, 29 June to Friday, 24 July 2026.
During exams, the University Library will operate 24 hours daily. The usual policy of locking hostel doors between 12:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. will be suspended, and campus security plus hostel lighting will be strengthened.
After exams:
- Non-final-year students must vacate hostels on or before Friday, 31 July 2026.
- Graduating students still completing projects or research may stay until Friday, 14 August 2026.
- All hostels close officially at 12:00 midnight on Friday, 14 August 2026 — ahead of the 2026/2027 session renovation preparations.
- No luggage or personal belongings may be left behind after the vacation deadlines.
Special cases:
- Students on SWEP, SIWES, or Teaching Practice who need to stay on campus from 1st August must register and pay the prescribed maintenance fee.
- College of Health Sciences students on postings (Clinical, Medical Laboratory Science, Physiotherapy, Nursing) retain their existing accommodation arrangements.
